Things I Miss

On this Easter Sunday it's easy to think about some of the things I miss, such as waking up and watching two little kids chase around the house after plastic eggs filled with candy, coins, Peeps, or whatever else we loaded in them the night before. Those little kids are 18 & 21 now.

I was digging around through some old family videos and found Easter Sunday 1992 and an egg hunt featuring my 3 1/2 year old daughter and 10-month old son at my parent's house in Huntington Beach. I decided to add something else to that video - a song my dad recorded on his karaoke machine a few years ago. We'll miss him this year too.

Since today is not only Easter Sunday but my 23rd wedding anniversary, I'm going to leave you with this fond memory from the past and take the rest of the day off to be with the family.
