The Healing Power of Gospel Music

Or maybe it's Elvis.  I decided to drag myself to the computer after I read this item on Don Surber's site:
I met a woman who had been diagnosed with multiple cancers in 2007. She was sent home — without treatment —- by a major cancer center that saw nothing for her ahead but death, and soon. And yet here she was, three years later, beaming and vibrant. Clearly, this woman was doing something that had, at least for a while, pushed death into a corner.

“Do you have a spiritual practice?” I asked.

“I sit in the sun. And I listen to Elvis Presley’s gospel music.
I spent much of the morning in bed with my iPod listening to gospel music (and some other stuff). I can't say I've been healed because as the afternoon goes into evening in the words of Elvis, "Lord Almighty I feel my temperature risin'" (Burning Love).

If you could use a little gospel music healing, we've got plenty of it available at CrimsonRiver.com and in the Crimson River Quartet Digital Store:
