Great Moments in the #OccupyWallStreet and #OccupyDC Movements

Those are some really nice folks you got out there.  First, a "mother", and I use the term very loosely, at #OccupyDC decided to shove her two small kids into the middle of a violent confrontation:
After coming to the top of the escalator at the DC Convention Center's Metro station I witness a group of OccupyDC protesters fighting with convention center security guards while trying to blockade an entrance to the center. Shockingly the protesters had purposely placed two children at the center of the ordeal. After the kids and several protesters were pushed back from the door by security I asked the mother why she had intentionally placed her young children in harm’s way. She and several other protesters justified the act to me while one other protester expressed dissatisfaction with the decision.
There's video at the link.

And in New York City the incidents of sexual assault have grown so much at #OccupyWallStreet they've had to resort to drastic measures:
It’s a safe house from the sex fiends.

Zuccotti Park has become so overrun by sexual predators attacking women in the night that organizers felt compelled to set up a female-only sleeping tent yesterday to keep the sickos away.

The large, metal-framed “safety tent” -- which will be guarded by an all-female patrol -- can accommodate as many as 18 people and will be used during the day for women-only meetings, said Occupy Wall Street organizers.

“This is all about safety in numbers,” said Becky Wartell, 24, a protester from Portland, Maine.

“When you’re in a large group of people sleeping, you will, of course, feel a lot safer than if you were by yourself,” she added.

“It will also keep away people that might feel more inclined to prey on two- and three-people tents.”
Oh, and there's this:
This isn’t the way to stick it to corporate America.

A Zuccotti Park protester threw a violent fit in a McDonald’s yesterday after employees refused to give him free food.

Fisika Bezabeh, 27, ripped a credit-card reader from a counter and threw it at workers at about 2:30 a.m. at the Mickey D’s at 160 Broadway, a bathroom spot for protesters.

No one was hurt by Bezabeh, who has been seen hanging out with protesters in the occupied park, police sources said.

He has been charged with criminal mischief.
In some ways it nice for the losers to all gather in one place so we know where they are.
