Quick Update

Dad's out of surgery. Tolerated it well. Won't know results of lung biopsy for awhile. Prayers very much appreciated by everyone.

Further update: I'm back from a day at the hospital. Dad finally got into a room at 3:30 pm. He's in lots of pain as expected, and pretty tired, but otherwise doing fine. With luck he'll go home tomorrow, though he'll have to take it pretty easy for awhile.

We won't know for a bit the results of the biopsy. He has quite a bit of inflammation of the lungs which is causing his coughing and shortness of breath. The surgeon was fairly positive that in cases like this in the past they were able to find a course of treatment that worked. We're hopeful that's how it will turn out this time too.
