A Common Sense Nuclear Deterrent Strategy

Frank J. at IMAO offers his version of a nuclear strike policy:
PRESIDENT FRANK J.’S NUCLEAR RETALIATION POLICY

We will use nuclear retaliation under the follow conditions:

1. We don’t like a country.

We we will not use nuclear retaliation under the following conditions:

1. We’re out of nukes.

I think my policy would be very similar, though I would probably add the abrogation of every nuclear treaty we've ever signed or contemplated signing. They're useless and all they do is disarm America.

We need to tell the world that we're going to have enough weapons to destroy every living thing several times over and enough to bounce the rubble for years thereafter. They better not mess with us. If they leave us alone, we won't turn their cities into glass-topped parking lots and their people into free-floating atoms.

If they do mess with us, all bets are off. Better get right with Allah, or whoever your Supreme Being happens to be. You're going to be meeting him very soon.

Was it here that I first saw a link to "nuke the moon"?

One of the funniest things I ever read. (And more apropos as the Obama days go by ....)

That's a great policy, Rick.
