This is a most serious situation. I have a number of close friends and relatives that are either retired teachers or presently teaching in the school systems. If the retirement systems go completly broke, they will be seriously hurting from a financial standpoint. There is a simiple answer for much of this, ELIMINATE many of the funds which go towards welfare and stop supplying health care benefits. These funds are not endless money pits, there must be some sense of financial accountability.
