Ironic Rose Parade Moment of the Day

The float entered by the City of Sierra Madre, which won the Governor's Trophy for Best Depiction of Life in California, broke down.  Didn't even make it off the starting line.  Had to be towed the length of the parade route.

The only thing that would have made the depiction more accurate is if Mexicans ran out of the crowd and jumped aboard as the float was towed down Colorado Boulevard until the whole thing collapsed of its own weight.
