I haven't posted on the Schiavo case prior to this (at least I don't think so), but after reading this story, how could anyone agree that removing her feeding tube and starving her to death is appropriate in any civilized society. Barring an act of God or a wise judge, Terry will be slowly and painfully killed commencing on Friday, and without knowing exactly what her mental state really is, I can't imagine how a judge could think this humane.This woman has a very personal reason to raise her voice for Terri Schiavo:

She was completely unresponsive to stimuli and was diagnosed as being in a persistent vegetative state. Doctors finally pulled her feeding tube and, for eight days, she lay dying.
