I've owned a home computer for 10 years (not the same one, thankfully) and have always used a dial-up connection to AOL. Well, with HolyCoast.com I find myself spending more and more time online, and more and more time stealing stuff from...uh researching...numerous websites. A dial up connection just doesn't get it anymore.
I've had a high speed connection in my office for several years, but just never got around to adding one at home. With the blog, kids homework, and my son's love for Instant Messaging 8 of his friends...all at once...we definately needed to do something. Mrs. HolyCoast often complained that we could never get calls because someone was always on the computer. No problem, I said, we don't have any friends! (I was smart enough to duck right after I said that)
Well, to keep peace in the HolyCoast household, I finally splurged and added SBC Yahoo DSL and a wireless network to my home. I just finished hooking it up, and I swear for one brief moment, I heard angels singing. This is going to be fun...
