Arnold on Parental Notification

Gov. Arnold may be pro-choice, but he doesn't think much of the idea that parents should not be notified of a child's abortion:
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Tuesday he supports the primary aim of a ballot initiative that would make most abortions for minors illegal without prior notification of the girls' parents or guardians, saying he'd "kill" someone who took one of his own daughters for an abortion without informing him.

"I have a daughter," Schwarzenegger said in an interview with The Bee. "I wouldn't want to have someone take my daughter to a hospital for an abortion or something and not tell me. I would kill him if they do that."
Me too. I don't understand how any parent could be in favor of a law that would allow their minor child to have an abortion without the parent's consent. You'd think even the libs would feel that way, but many are so beholden to the abortion industry that they can't even express true parental emotions without risking the ire of the pro-death crowd.

Parental notification is a classic example of a law, which if left up to the voters, would pass overwhelmingly, but if left up to liberal courts, will probably be overturned. The lefty judges just don't get it.
