Where are the Buses?

We've heard many, many of the stranded citizens of New Orleans blaming the authorities for not providing enough buses to get them out of town. If the leadership in New Orleans had done even a small amount of pre-storm planning, these buses wouldn't be under water and unusable.

I wonder how many people could have been evacuated if these 205 school buses had been used before Katrina hit?
