Tonight the HolyCoast clan headed off to Disneyland for the evening, and we almost didn't get in. When we arrived at the parking garage, the sign said Disneyland was full and we were given a notice that admittance was restricted. That's the first time in 18 years as an annual passholder that we've ever seen that.
We've barely gotten the ghosts and goblins put away from Halloween, and the Christmas decorations are coming out in force. As of today (Nov. 11), Disney is in full-on Christmas mode. The lights and decorations are up and the park is filled with the sounds of Christmas carols. They didn't use to start the Christmas stuff until the day after Thanksgiving, but I guess nobody wants to wait that long anymore. I like Christmas music, but I'm not sure I'm going to like it so much after I've heard it for 50 days.
With Christmas already underway, Thanksgiving is just going to be relegated to a mall sale day. Too bad.
