We're having a great tour here in Western Pennsylvania. Friday night we sang to a packed house in West Kittanning at Harvest Community Church. We were joined by The Keelings, a family group from this area. The crowd was great and we had a lot of fun with them.
Saturday we spent some time touring the area. We headed up through Rural Valley and on to Dayton and Smicksburg. The Smicksburg area has quite a few Amish citizens, and we passed several of their horse-drawn buggies out on the highway. We even saw one that was towing a boat. I guess that's what they'd call an Amish recreational vehicle.
Saturday night's concerts was at Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Dayton, a beautiful old church right in the middle of farm country. The church is located right in the middle of a cemetary, as many are in this part of the country. They don't do that in California, so it's a little unusual for us to go to a church where there's more people laying down than sitting up.
This morning we're off to Adrian for the last stop on the tour before flying home this afternoon. I'll post some photos from the trip tomorrow.
