Interesting Speech by Michael Crichton

Last Christmas, while vacationing up in the San Bernardino Mountains, I read Michael Crichton's latest book "State of Fear". It is a book which points out the fallacies of much of the environmental movement and one which undoubtedly got him disinvited from many Hollywood parties.

In November of this year Crichton gave a speech which has now been put on the Internet, along with the charts and diagrams he used. It's interesting reading, especially for any science geeks out there.

Crichton points out many of the hypocrisies of the environmental movement, and his section on the mismanagement of Yellowstone is especially interesting. It's not the easiest information to slog through, but worth the effort. You can read it all here.
