Kerry: Iraqis Should Be Terrorizing Their Own People

Sen. John Kerry is quickly reverting into his Vietnam-syndrome mode and is really ratcheting up the criticism of our troops and our government, just as he did in the early 70's. You'll recall that in congressional hearings, Kerry accused the U.S. forces of all kinds of atrocities in Vietnam, none of which could be substantiated. It looks like he's at it again.

However, I'm not sure how much success he'll have with the notion that U.S. troops should not be terrorizing Iraqis - Iraqis should be doing that (from Face the Nation 12/4/05):

John Kerry: There is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the... the historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. Iraqis should be doing that.

And he wants to be my president...
