Kanye West Has a God Complex

In the latest attempt to create controversy and generate publicity, (c)rapper Kanye West has posed as Jesus Christ on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine for an article entitled "The Passion of Kanye West". I think Glenn Reynolds sums up my feelings about this very well:

IF KANYE WEST HAD BALLS, he's pose as Mohammed, instead of Jesus. But he doesn't. Efforts to be controversial have become so predictable. Yawn.

Glenn's got a good point. Posing as Jesus might get you on the cover of Rolling Stone, but posing as Mohammed will get you a mention in the obituary page.
