Mexico Halts Map Distribution

I mentioned the other day about the Mexican Government plans to hand out maps to those intending to enter the U.S. illegally. Looks like they've changed their minds:
Mexico will suspend its plan to distribute maps to migrants wanting to cross the U.S. border illegally, but an official said Thursday the decision was not made because of American pressure.

Miguel Angel Paredes, spokesman for the federal Human Rights Commission, said the decision was made because human rights officials in border states expressed concern that the maps would show anti- immigrant groups where migrants likely would gather.
Those maps were supposed to show the illegals safe routes into the U.S., but of course, they also showed the Border Patrol and others anti-illegal immigration groups where the illegals could most easily be found. Now that I think about it, it's too bad they stopped giving them out.
