Hayden, then head of the N.S.A., to express her concerns after she and other members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees received a classified briefing from General Hayden on Oct. 1, 2001, about the agency's operations.Say what?? Once again a Dem leader operates as though her past words just disappear into the ether never more to be heard - or examined. They used to be able to get away with this kind of stuff, but not anymore.
Ms. Pelosi, then the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said, "I am concerned whether, and to what extent, the National Security Agency has received specific presidential authorization for the operations you are conducting."

Pelosi Suffers from Memory Deficit Disorder
Laer has a good post on the apparent memory problems being suffered by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Mars) (be sure to check out the photo). She's been crowing her outrage at the NSA spying program, and suggesting that the president has violated all kinds of laws in the progress. However, this program is not new to Ms. Pelosi and when she was briefed, she didn't seem to have the same concerns:
