Losing Some Good People Way Too Young

It's always a shock when good people die young, and there has been a trio of them lately.

Anthony Burger, who's contribution to Southern Gospel Music was mentioned here, died Feb. 22nd of a heart attack at only 44 years old.

And from The Corner:

As you've probably heard, Dana Reeve has died of lung cancer--and leaves behind a 14-year-old son who has now lost both parents.

And Baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett died yesterday. He was the elder of the two, dying of a stroke at 45.

Sad stories. The Dana Reeve situation is particulary unusual since it's fairly rare for people that age to contract lung cancer when they haven't smoked or been regularly subjected to second-hand smoke.

Our condolences to all of the families involved.
