The 2008 presidential race is already moving into high gear, and there's now a move by evangelicals to support a Mormon, Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. There are a couple of blogs which have started recently either supporting Romney outright, or at least tracking the evangelical reaction to a Mormon candidate:

A recent LA Times poll indicates that evangelicals are not yet ready to jump on the Romney bandwagon, but there's a lot of time for that to change. Personally, I'm not ready to commit one way or the other. I think Romney is an attractive candidate, but I'm also looking for someone who can win, so there will be lots of different scenerios to consider before 2008.
