We're having our own version of global warming in Southern California. Around 3pm today I checked the weather channel website for my city and it showed 105 degrees. The temp gauge on my upper deck was reading about 110, and my electronic outdoor temp guage was reading 116. We made a trip to Costco this afternoon and walking across the parking lot was brutal. We should only be feeling these kinds of temperatures when we're crossing over the bridge between Excalibur and New York/New York.
We could use a little less global warming right about now.
At least we still have air conditioning and power. These poor folks have been without power for six days and there's no end in sight.
