The track map for now Tropical Storm Ernesto has shifted quite a bit east with landfall predicted for the extreme southern tip of the Florida peninsula. The forecast also has the storm staying below hurricane strength until it leaves the east coast of Florida. That's good news for Florida residents.
South Carolina might have to deal with a Hurricane Ernesto, but if the track map keeps shifting east, it could miss a direct hit there too.
This must all be very disappointing to the global warming crowd.
