Accident Update

In my post from yesterday I told you about a serious car accident that my quartet friend had on Thursday night. I received an update from his wife, and his injuries were more serious than previously thought. I got this update from his wife:

He has multiple injuries all on the left side: fractured jaw, fractured ribs, fractured pelvis and hip, and fractured heel. At 5 am this morning he was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Hollywood where the orthopedic specialists were located. NICE hospital.

This evening his jaw was wired shut. It'll be a liquid diet for 4-6 weeks. What a way to lose weight. The orthopedic specialists decided to not do surgery on the hip or pelvis. There will be lots of physical therapy, however. But, praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow. He is alive.
