Democrats Promoting Gun Violence

The Democrats, never ones to be concerned with core values, are suddenly pro-gun (from Political Wire):

"Most normal people, even political people, react to this like moms and dads. I’m a dad. Somebody sends an email like that to my kid, they are going to deal with the law firm of Smith & Wesson, OK? It ain’t going to go to no Page Board."

-- Democratic strategist Paul Begala, on CNN, discussing the scandal surrounding former Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) and sticking close to the "parent angle" talking points.

The faux outrage expressed by Begala is nothing more than playing the political game. When members of his own party committed acts equal or worse than what Foley did, Begala was either silent or supportive of the Dems. To hear a pro-gun control liberal Dem suddenly start making threats about shooting someone is laughable. Begala wouldn't know which end of the gun the bullet comes out of. He's probably shoot himself if you gave him one.
