Last year I attended the first GodBlogCon (convention of Christian bloggers) at Biola University in La Mirada, CA last year and had a great time meeting and greeting the many bloggers from around the country who showed up. I had every intention on going again this year when it was originally scheduled in August, but for various reasons they moved it to this coming weekend, Oct. 26-28th, easily the worst weekend of the Fall for me. Consequently, I'll have to read about it on their website.
It's not too late for you to attend and you can find out how to sign up and who will be there by checking the web.
What will I be doing instead? Thursday night I'll be attending the Lakers game at the Honda Center with my dad, Friday night is Parent's night for all the seniors in the Mission Viejo High School band and since my daughter is a senior, I'll have the honor to join her on the field when she's introduced to the crowd (there will be pictures, probably posted on Saturday), and all day Saturday I'll be working the Band Competition that our school is hosting in Mission Viejo. Parental duties call.
I wish the assembled bloggers at GodBlogCon the best and I look forward to reading the reports.
