So much for boosting your bust for cosmetic purposes.
The woman, who sported a size 40DD, was involved in a head-on collision with another car in the Bulgarian capital Sofia when her larger-than-life implants acted as airbags, sparing her organs serious accident-related injuries.
Police told the Standart newspaper that the sizeable silicone implants 'absorbed the impact of the crash.'
"They worked just like airbags — protecting the victim's ribs and vital organs from damage," an officer said.
"However they are not as safe as the real thing because they exploded, which airbags are not supposed to do."

Maybe VW Should Try This in Their Ads
We've all seen the annoying ads of Volkswagen owners merrily driving along when WHAM! they get in an accident. The commercials always end with the shaken driver saying "holy..." and then they cut to text before they get an FCC fine. I've got an idea for the next VW ad based on this story:
