Brits Mis-Hit a Headline

I saw this headling in the British paper The Daily Mail:
Astronaut mis-hits first space golf shot

The article had to do with some commercial venture a Russian cosmonaut did at the International Space Station. As a fan of the US space program, I immediately recognized the error in the headline and pointed it out to the paper in the form of a comment at their site which they elected not to publish (Brits just hate to be wrong). My comment had to do with the fact that the first space golf shot actually occurred over 30 years ago during the flight of Apollo 14. Alan Shephard, commander of that mission, hit a custom made 6-iron on the moon, sending one of the shots "miles and miles" in Shephard's own words. I watched that shot live when it was broadcast.

Sloppy reporting, Brits.
