This story came out last night:

The 31-year-old co-owner of an El Monte doughnut shop remained missing Friday night after possibly being kidnapped after answering knocking at the shop's rear door, police said.

Vanna Nou, also known as Lily Nou, went missing at about 8 a.m. Friday from SK Donut Shop, 3571 Peck Road, said Detective Ralph Batres of the El Monte Police Department.

Nou and her mother own the shop and it was Nou's mother who told her to answer the door, Batres said.

It sounded pretty scary, but then Ms. Nou showed up late last night. Turns out she left on her own with the intent of eloping in Las Vegas.

So, did she come back a married woman? Nope.

She forgot her ID.
