I saw Will Ferrell's new movie Stranger Than Fiction last night in a pretty packed and very large theater. I'd have to give it two thumbs up. Ferrell showed a range of acting abilities, from the usual comedy stuff that we're used to, to some very emotional scenes in which he's contemplating his impending death. The plot is interesting and the movie well cast. Emma Thompson is perfect for her role as is Dustin Hoffman. It stretched reality in many interesting ways, including the idea that a stiff IRS taxman would end up with a hippie-chick baker, but I'm sure stranger things have happened.
It's worth the price of admission - go see it.
