TheTV news today in Southern California is full of dire warnings about the "deadly" cold which will descend on So Cal this weekend. They're talking about the National Guard opening warming stations, and what to do to save yourself and your neighbors.

So what are the deadly temperatures expected to ravish the Southland? Today's high will be 53 and the low around freezing. How will we ever survive? To hear the coverage you'd think a glacier was going to be coming down Hollywood Blvd.
