Rumors have it that some big Hollywood Hooplah Awards Show will be polluting the airwaves this Sunday night, but in an age with 500 channels you don't have to watch it. My recommendation - the Dogfights marathon on the History Channel. As an aviation buff in general, and a military aviation buff in particular, Dogfights is a very cool show. They use amazing computer graphics to recreate famous aerial encounters from past conflicts, and it's almost like you're right there watching it all happen.
And the beauty of it is that after they shoot down the bad guy, you don't have to listen to them "thank all the little people who made it possible".
