Blond But No Bombshells

Poor afflicted Valerie Plame appeared before Congress to allege the following:
  1. That she was a covert agent despite the fact that she went in and out of the very public entrance to the CIA five days a week;

  2. That senior officials outed her as an attempt to get back at her shiftless husband, despite the fact that months of investigation proved that no crime was involved;

  3. That she didn't have anything to do with recommending that said shiftless husband be dispatched to Niger to investigate uranium sales to Saddam, which directly contradicts the findings of the Senate Intelligence Committee;

  4. That Dick Cheney, as Vice President, made an "unprecedented number of visits to the CIA", and that was intimidating to the agency;

  5. And that she wouldn't have wanted her husband to go because she had small twins at home. This is the only one of the four statements that has any chance of being true.

As shown in the photo below, Plame's testimony was accompanied by a transvestite Code Pink protestor directly over her shoulder in the camera shot. At appropriate moments he/she/it was seen make the hand signal for "shame, shame, shame" as Plame spoke.

There's video here.

Yaaaaaawwwwn. It's sad to see someone realize that their 15 minutes is up.
