A new Time magazine poll shows John Edwards has surged among Democrats since he announced that his wife Elizabeth's cancer had recurred.While he's picking up support, it's not enough to take the lead. My guess is he'll have to kill her off right before the Iowa caucuses to have any real chance to win.
In the national survey of registered Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads with 38%, followed by Sen. Barack Obama at 30% and Edwards at 26%. Edwards received just 17% in mid-March.
