British Poll Shows Signs of Big Trouble

When a foreign power kidnaps members of your military and parades them on TV making all sorts of embarrasing "apologies" and "confessions", this poll would not give you a lot of confidence in your fellow countrymen:
7% favour preparing for military action at this stage

26% want Britain to apologise and ask for the captives back

40% back the government’s position of continued diplomatic action stopping short of an apology

I hope the hostages had a change of undies because they're going to be guests of Iran for a long, long time. As Mark Steyn says at The Corner:
Countries that don’t mean it shouldn’t be in war zones. Only seven per cent of Britons mean it. Iran understands that.
Exactly.
