Dems Still Fighting Against Debates on Fox News

The wacko chorus continues over the issue of Democratic debates to be carried on Fox News. The Black Congressional Caucus is planning to co-sponsor some debates with Fox involving both Republican and Democrat candidates, but it may not get an official "sanction" from the Dem party:

The Democratic National Committee announced today that it would “sanction” six presidential debates, beginning later this year. It said dates, logistics and such have not been decided yet. They would start in July, and be held once a month.

But the release had barely landed when opponents of Fox News, namely the ColorofChange.org online group, demanded that the D.N.C. not endorse — or include among its debates — the September event co-sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and Fox in Detroit.

“The D.N.C. sanctioned debates will not include Fox,” Karen Finney, the committee’s communications director, told us.

Update: Fox News just issued a response from Marty Ryan, executive producer of political programming:

“We are continuing to move forward with all our debate partners – what Karen Finney expressed has no bearing on our course of action.”

What a bunch of cowards the Dems are turning out to be. What are they afraid of? Will their candidates melt if asked a tough question by Brit Hume?

Pansies.
