Fred Thompson Right After 9/11

A video is now circulating of Sen. Fred Thompson speaking at a Nashville church just a few days after the 9/11 attacks. It's a good reminder of what we were all feeling in those first days, and when he mentions the unanimous vote in the Senate to authorize the president to respond, and the members of Congress standing together on the Capitol steps and singing "God Bless America", he reminds us of unity of purpose which was quickly abandoned by the Democrats:
