Sen. Pat Roberts' office announced this afternoon that President Bush plans to visit Greensburg on Wednesday.President Bush has clearly learned from the Katrina experience that when a major trauma takes place somewhere, it's important for him to get there as quickly as he can and show the flag. "As the recovery effort continues, the president wants to personally visit with the people who have survived such a horrific tragedy," Roberts said.
"This visit will also give the president the chance to observe local, state and federal efforts, enabling him to determine what additional role the federal government can play as we recover and rebuild," Roberts added.
