Iran Wants UN Out of the the U.S.

The Iranians are trying to drum up support to move the UN out of the United States:

A prominent Iranian lawmaker stressed that the Untied States is not a proper host for the United Nations Organization and called on all member states to demand a transfer of the UN headquarters from New York. ...

The legislator said that the plan for the transfer of the UN permanent headquarters from the US should be viewed as a political position taken (by Iran) against the measures adopted by the White House leaders.

"The US has proved that it does not deserve to host the United Nations member states," he underlined.

I'll bet there are a lot of Americans that could get behind that idea, as long as the money we waste supporting that dysfunctional organization stays in the U.S. after they leave. It wouldn't bother me to see those pirates relocate somewhere else.

However, it will never happen because the diplomats know they've got it good in the U.S. and will never want to give up the perks that come with a New York City headquarters.
