In looking at some of the reviews from the second GOP debate, it seems pretty clear that if your name is not Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney or John McCain, it's time to get out of the presidential race. If your name is Newt Gingrich or Fred Thompson, it's time to make a decision. Get in or get out, but don't expect us to continue to pay attention to you if you won't commit.
It's a waste of time to have the seven dwarves on stage with the top three guys. None of these seven are more than an asterisk in the polls and are robbing the voters of the opportunity to hear longer and more detailed debate answers from the three guys who at this point have a realistic chance to win. The bottom seven are little more than bombthrowers at this point, and although they may make the top three uncomfortable from time-to-time, they're not doing anybody a service by continuing their Quixotic quest. It's time for them to move on.
