The Perfect Response

Personal attacks have already begun against Fred Thompson. The most aggregious would be former GOP Representive Joe Scarborough's musings about whether Thompson's attractive wife ever worked as a stripper. Why he hasn't gotten the Imus treatment from MSNBC, I'm not sure. (Actually, I am sure. Thompson's wife is white, while the victim's of Imus' statement are black.)

Thompson was asked on Fox last night about the attacks on his personal life and gave the perfect response:

"It's a badge of honor to get attacked by some of these bozos."
