Wow - we just had the strongest earthquake I've felt in a long time in Southern California. More info when I get it.
UPDATE: A light earthquake occurred at 10:29:14 AM (PDT) on Sunday, September 2, 2007.The magnitude 4.7 event occurred 13 km (8 miles) WNW of Lake Elsinore, CA.
"Light earthquake" my keister. We were only about 13 or 14 miles from the epicenter and it rattled us pretty good.
Let's hope that wasn't a foreshock for something bigger. We'll probably have some small aftershocks all day, most of which we may not even feel.
Here's the Los Angeles earthquake map.
FoxNews is reporting the earthquake in the San Fernando Valley, I guess because they think all of our earthquakes occur out there, but in fact it was a long way from the Valley. Somebody at FoxNews will finally look at a map and get it right.
