A man who claimed he had a bomb strapped to his body walked into a Hillary Clinton campaign office in Rochester, N.H., and initially took four hostages, law enforcement sources said.He probably just wants to help out with the campaign.
Two of the four hostages -- an adult and a child -- subsequently were released, the sources said. It was unclear whether additional hostages were released.
The man with the apparent pipe bomb asked to speak to Clinton, a source said.
UPDATE: The situation has ended and during the standoff he called CNN:
Minutes later, Wolf Blitzer on CNN's Situation Room revealed that the man had called the CNN bureau in Washington during the crisis and talked to staffers -- not Blitzer. The CNN anchor also said that Eisenberg had called another CNN office as well.I'm guessing that he was ticked off that Clinton didn't allow CNN to use his YouTube question during the GOP debate.
He said the cable news network said it decided not to reveal this before so it would not interfere with any negotiations.
