You hate to see one of your heroes fall, but today I fear that Power Line blog has jumped the shark with this post slamming NASCAR which ended its 35 race season today at Homestead, FL. Rudy Giuliani was present at today's race, something which caused the Power Line blogger to feel sorry for him and make disparaging remarks about the 2nd largest spectator sport in the country (after the NFL).
Just two posts before the offending item one of the other Power Line contributors gave us an excited post about a metric football (soccer) game from Israel. Talk about "watching paint dry". Have the commies completely taken over Power Line?
It's a sad day in the conservative blogosphere.
