NASCAR Takes a New York Victory Lap

As part of Championship Week in New York, the top ten drivers will take a 1 1/2 mile victory lap through the streets of New York City in their race cars (at a leisurely pace) which will easily be the noisiest parade of the year in the big city. The parade winds around a bit, but goes right by the hotel where I stayed last June. It will end up in Times Square right about where I took this photo:

You can watch it on Good Morning America (ABC) starting at about 8am. There will be a few half-deaf commuters in the big city tomorrow morning.
