Heard just a few minutes ago on the Rush Limbaugh Show - Bay Haven Elementary School in Sarasota, FL is having a celebration for Veteran's Day which they will hold tomorrow since the actual holiday is on Sudnay. The caller's son is in a 4th grade class that has chosen to honor conscientious objectors in their Veteran's Day celebration. Yes I understand that there's a difference between conscientious objectors and draft dodgers, but I still don't believe honoring conscientious objectors is in keeping with the spirit of the holiday.

Rush wondered if during the school's Nov. 15th Thanksgiving celebration the 4th grade class would be tasked with representing the venerial diseases the Pilgrims brought to the Indians.
