I took a quick cellphone shot of the checkout area at the Costco in Carlsbad. It had 16 checkout lines working and each one was 8 deep in customers.
I got there only about 20 minutes after the store opened and the parking lot was nearly full. The aisles were so jammed you could hardly push a shopping cart through there.
Later in the day I stopped at the Mission Viejo Mall to pick up a last minute gift. It was absolutely nuts around there. Almost no parking and the roads in and out dead stopped because there were so many cars.
I don't know about you but I'm done shopping.
