SAN FRANCISCO — A fan fell to his death from a high wall at Monster Park during the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.Given the 49ers 2007 record, I wouldn't discount the possibility that he jumped.
A team spokeswoman says the fan was sitting on a wall on the concourse level of the park when he fell about 20 feet.
Team vice president Lisa Lang says paramedics responded immediately and treated the fan, but he died about 30 minutes later.
Police say the man was 31 years old, and that they are treating the incident as an accident. Authorities did not release any more details about the man.
