Bus Full of Dr. Phil Fans Crashes Into Church

Getting Dr. Phil fans to church the hard way:

LOS ANGELES -- A tour bus slammed through a fence and onto the property of a Hollywood church Wednesday morning after it collided with a parked car, according to fire officials.

The crash occurred in the 1700 block of North Gower Street, near the exit from the Hollywood (101) Freeway. The bus went over a curb and onto the property of Hollywood Presbyterian Church, knocking down trees and a fence.

The passengers were part of a group from Camarillo traveling to a taping of the Dr. Phil Show, show officials told KNBC. The Dr. Phil show is taped at Paramount Studios, located on the corner of Melrose Avenue and North Gower Street, just south of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood.
