The liberal Des Moines Register and Boston Globe remind us that John McCain is the liberal's favorite Republican by endorsing him for president. That won't help him in the primaries.
The papers split on the Democratic side. The Register went with eventual third place finisher Hillary Clinton while the Globe went with Obama. The Globe carries a lot of weight in New Hampshire, the home of the first official primary and the second big nominating contest.
