The Voters Are Confused

This bit of news should discomfort all of the candidates - especially the frontrunners (h/t Political Wire):
Interesting finding from the latest national AP/Yahoo poll: "Dig beneath the surface of the raucous Republican presidential race and you will find even deeper turmoil: Four in 10 GOP voters have switched candidates in the past month alone, and nearly two-thirds say they may change their minds again."

On the Democratic side, "about one in five backs a different contender than in November, and nearly half say they still may settle on someone else."
This also renders the idea of using entrance polls pretty silly since there's not necessarily any connection between who a person supports as they enter the caucus and who they end up voting for.

And when you have people touting polls with only 174 respondents and a margin of error of +/- 7% as proof their candidate is doing well, somebody is in for a bad day on Jan. 3.
